Ger Colleran, founder at Talent Fusion will be our guest speaker next week. Ger is planning to talk to the group about networking and is also going to use the opportunity to work with some of the group members to help them develop their elevator pitches.
Please note that we will be extending the session to 12.30pm on the 27th as one of the members is planning on giving a demo of LinkedIN.

ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone who confirmed with me their attendance for Friday.
On the basis of those who have confirmed our session will take place in Enterprise Ireland from 10am to 12pm. There will be a short session at 12pm on LinkedIN.
We will commence as normal with elevator pitchers and we will then have a presentation from Ger Colleran from Talent Fusion on Networking.
I have asked Ger to develop some 'real life' elevator pitches with the group as part of his presentation. He will ask for some volunteers
during the session and he will work with them to develop their elevator pitch as part of the session. This should be a great learning
experience for everyone with respect to developing elevator pitches.
Mark Keane has kindly offered to do a run through linkedIN at 12pm for approximately 30 minutes. If anyone wants to volunteer to have their profile created during the LinkedIn demonstration on Friday, let me know in advance of the session.
