Healthy body - healthy Mind

And now for something a bit different....

Mary FitzPatrick B.Sc. CHEK Practitioner 2 will be coming to talk to us about the effects of stress on the body, both short-term and long-term. She will talk about stress management techniques and how we can manage our stress. Some of these include:

 Food choices – energy givers Vs energy robbers

 Sleep pattern – wake up with energy

 Breathing – is your breathing pattern stressed?

 Activity level – just move…

 Hydration – uisce beatha!

She will talk about how the above will impact to alleviate or to increase the stress effect on the body.

Mary will also give is a short self-assessment of lifestyle/stress and provide some take home tips which are practical, simple and free (!)
